As I come to the end of my first full year in self-employment I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far and really excited by what’s ahead.
I’ve learned more about processes and products, sales and marketing, twitter and taxes than I would ever have imagined. Overall though the best parts of 2016 for me have really been getting to know other people and myself much better.
I’ve been fortunate to work with a great mix of clients in many different situations. All have had the common aim to make the protection experience a better one. It might be evolution not revolution but I know we’re getting there – with many new presents to unwrap in 2017.
So thankyou – whether you are one of the people who has signed a cheque, been a creative spark, a sympathetic ear or just someone who I’ve shared a coffee and a grumble with you’ve all played a big part in making this year very very special for me.
Wishing you all a very special time with family and friends over the next couple of weeks, and look forward to much more of the same next year.
